Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Vendor Management Administrator to join their client's team in California. This role a 3 month contract and is crucial in coordinating compliance initiatives across various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with credit union standards, and supporting the VP, Compliance and Vendor Management in maintaining a robust Compliance Management Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a system administrator for the vendor management software, including data entry and management.
  • Collect and analyze third-party due diligence.
  • Assist vendor owners with annual due diligence requirements, including collection and data entry.
  • Initiate vendor searches, such as OFAC on businesses and principals.
  • Assist vendor owners in preparing review termination notices and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with vendor owners to ensure timely submission of vendor monitoring documentation.
  • Partner with vendor management software service managers to request and review service reports for higher-risk vendors.
  • Evaluate external report findings and present them to internal subject matter experts for review.
  • Escalate high-risk cases as needed.
  • Track and document all notifications of vendor data breaches and maintain a monthly report; coordinate notices to relevant departments.
  • Assist in regular compliance assessments and quality control reviews to test and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Centrally track compliance-related policies and procedures and ensure timely reviews.
  • Assist during regulatory examinations and external audits.
  • Assist with compliance-related risk assessments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial vendor management.
  • Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification in a related field is desirable.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and vendor management systems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain rapport with co-workers to effectively obtain and communicate compliance information.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am-3:30pm Onsite in Kearny Mesa

Benefits:

Competitive salary with a pay range from $25 to $35 per hour.
